In response to the rapidly changing conditions in the health care field, the St. Paul's Home Foundation was incorporated in Illinois in February, 1997.

The prime purpose of the Foundation is to raise, manage and provide funds in support of the operations of the nursing facility and the retirement apartments.   It is the goal of the Foundation to raise funds through encouraging people to make gifts and bequests to the Foundation.   The principal will not be used for current operating expenses but will be invested for growth of the funds.   While numerous donations in the past have been used for new building construction, these investments made by the foundation are being used to supplement day-to-day operations as needed.
